Commentary on Poem 3

Reflecting on:

-the theme that you are exploring in the poem.

The theme that i was exploring in the poem, is the things that is related to us. related to we students.
adeline is a 14 year old girl. she had stress like us too, but she can't take it longer.
she wants to end the stress and she don't want to meet her parents at home,when they recieve her english paper, so she went to attempt suicide.which is a very wrong choice to be done.
she was too harsh on her choices. she could choose another option. but, she chose to attempt suicde.
just because her teacher refuses to give 1 mark to her, just 1 mark less, it marks the end of her life.


-how you developed the theme in ur poem.

i try to think of all the difficulties adeline faced. she had been having stress the whole time once she was promoted to secondary 2. Her parents had been telling her to study hard, in order not to disappoint them. adeline is a good girl, she doesn't want her parents to be disappointed. So i wrote a poem, about all her stress why did she attempt suicide, what causes her to attempt suicide.

-the effect/s that you would like to achieve in the poem to impact ur readers and how you went about doing it.

i would like them to know how to able to cope their stress, don't always choose the way that u think that it could end the whole thing, which is attempting suicide, but the truth is it doesn't end everything.
